Dbz infinite world saiyan saga pc download

I think it's a clever way of recreating the series and it will be great for some fans, but in the end, it is a double-edged weapon. As soon as these animated scenes end, you are confronted with the harsh contrast of the game vs the anime. This is the type of game only a hardcore fan of the series would enjoy. If you're not completely a die-hard fan then I really find it pretty hard to recommend.

The game is close to a more 3D beat-em-up game , but the animations a so slow, the controls so uncomfortable, and the visuals so below-average that it ends up being awkward.

There are plenty of good Dragon Ball Z games you can buy on the PS2, but sadly this just isn't one of those. To make a great Dragon Ball game they really need something unique, especially since there are so many already. And while the change of pace is much appreciated here, it's still not enough.

Nor is it well done either, as it's just a sloppy, 3D beat-em-up with awkward animations. Browse games Game Portals. With Vegeta, for example, in order to turn into a Super Saiyan, players would have to have at least four bars of ki and then press down with the energy button.

In order to transform into a Super Saiyan 2, players would need at least 5 bars, and so forth. Transforming can greatly increase the amount of damage dealt, as well as make it easier to gain ki.

It can even briefly stun opponents if used skillfully. Lastly, ultimates return once again to Infinite World as a sort of hybrid between Budokai 3 and Shin Budokai. Like in Budokai 3, certain characters like Vegeta with his Big Bang Attack have ultimates that trigger short cutscenes where a minigame takes place to determine how much damage will be inflicted on the defender.

Some characters though -- particularly the new ones -- do their ultimates entirely in game, like Teen Gohan's Father-Son Kamehameha. No cutscene is engaged and the defender is given no opportunity to reduce damage.

This is all on a character by character basis. Like in the previous games, ultimates often cause the camera to zoom to outer space so players can see the size of the massive fireball for dramatic effect. The game includes 41 playable characters, 33 of which must be unlocked beforehand. Infinite World has battle locations from across the entire series, but it doesn't have every single one.

The stages included in this release are:. As with the previous games, most of these stages can be destroyed by ultimate techniques like Frieza's Death Ball or Vegeta's Big Bang Attack. Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World. Well, we find out in our review of Dragonball Z: Infinite World.

The thing that will come as a comfort to players who love games within the DB series is that this game maintains some of the usual modes. There is still an AI and local multiplayer fighting mode. However, all these modes depend on fun and fluid battle mechanics.

Something that this game seems to forget was essential. The combat for this game is just downright dull. You have access to Ki blasts, punches kicks and a range of other powers. However, despite this, the combat feels repetitive, without the same action-packed flair that other games in the series have in abundance.

Plus, the scale feels limited compared to other games. Then moving onto the presentation of the title. In terms of the overall look, this game looks basic. The animations are poorly rendered. The assets, models and backdrops all look rough around the edges.
