Let me show you how to do so in VirtualBox 6. To make this work, you'll need a working instance of VirtualBox 6. I'll be demonstrating with a Fedora guest and a Pop! You will also need to make sure you've already installed the Guest Additions for the guest VM.

That doesn't show up either. I did create a shared folder on the guest and that is accessible from the host but not the other way around. If you host is on a LAN, the easiest way to achieve that is to used is to use bridged networking for the guest. Host and guest will both get their network config from the local DHCP server.

Please see my last reply. The host can see the share on the guest but the guest cannot see the share on the host, either the vbox share nor a normal Windows type of share. Select where you want to have the VirtualBox Guest Additions installed.
